I feel we tend to see more horror remakes nowadays than we do new horror movies which is a shame. It was always fun and exciting to see a new horror movie release.
What are your thoughts on horror remakes? Do you find them to be better than the original or worse?

Some horror remakes can improve more than the original, they can offer fresh perspective while some lack the originality and uniqueness of the first movie by the changes in the characters, stories or plot which alter the essence of the original movie.
