The New Halloween Gets Its First Poster!

While still six months away from the release of the newest “Halloween” movie, the first official movie poster has been released and it features the time-worn mask of Michael Myers and underneath, the damaged left eye of the murderous antagonist. Taking place forty years after the events of the first “Halloween” movie, the wound he received then is still apparent.

Being directed by David Gordon Green who co-wrote the script with Danny McBride, they promise that “Laurie Strode comes to her final confrontation with Michael Myers.” While this will be the eleventh movie of the “Halloween” franchise, the new movie for 2018 is set to be a direct sequel to the original John Carpenter film.

Judy Greer is set to play Laura’s daughter, Karen, along with Andi Matichak starring as Laura’s grand-daughter Allyson. Of course Nick Castle returns as Michael Myers and expect him to be more active than ever as James Jude Courtney has been selected as the stunt performer for the Myers character.

Other cast include Drew Scheid from “Stranger Things,” Dylan Arnold from “Mudbound,” Miles Robbins from “Mozart in the Jungle,” and Ginny Gardner of “Project Almanac” fame as Allyson’s friends (and probably Michael’s
victims.) “Halloween” is due out on October 19th, 2018.

Have your say!

  1. I wasn’t much impressed with this new Halloween film. It was like they have it rushed in my opinion because of how the plot went on and on. They should have done better. Even the costumes wasn’t all that good to say the least.
