Scream Factory has just forewarned the world that come May 15th of 2018 they are unleashing the “It’s Alive Trilogy” complete and for the very first time on Bluray.
Begun in 1974 with the original “It’s Alive” writer, producer, and director Larry Cohen’s saga of the drug-mutated, murderous infant played on society’s fears of prescription and fertility drugs, and the effects of pesticide use on human reproduction. Despite the uneven release schedule, “It’s Alive” garnered enough popularity that it generated two sequels, “It Lives Again” in 1978 and “It’s Alive III: Island of the Alive” in 1987.
The Bluray Boxed Set Collection features all-new2K scans of the original films, still photo galleries for all three movies along with theatrical trailers, television spots, audio commentary from Larry Cohen and the special short “It’s Alive at the Nuart: The 40th Anniversary Screening”
plus interviews with the actors.
