What kind of horror books do you read? Do you have a favorite horror author?

My sister writes horror and does mostly short stories. She's been published twice now.

HP Lovecraft is my favourite author when it comes to writing horror stories. I have read at least 5 of his best horror books. I'm looking forward to buying another one of his books.

I have never read any horror stories in books. It's going to be too tidious for me to do which is why I prefer watching horror movies than reading it in books.

I don't read a lot of horror books, I'm more into motivational and psychological books, novels, Romantica and literary books.

I was recommended some Harry Potter books and it's quite a good read that's got both horror and magic. I'm currently reading Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. It's so interesting. I love it.

I haven't read any horror books in a very long time. I would like to get some good recommendations on which one's to get and read. At least 3 great horror books would be enough for me to start with.

I prefer watching horror movies than reading them because I always imagine them when wacthing. I will get tired easily while reading them so it's better I stick to the one that favours me all the time.

I prefer reading horror books, mostly short stories. I don't like watching the movies since I have limited time to do so. However, reading the books js better for me.

We are alike as I also enjoy watching horror movies. I mean, I have watched a couple of horror movies from The psycho, The Shinning, and I am currently seeing Hereditary. Watching those movies is far better for me.

When I think back to all the books I have read, I can honestly say I have never read anything horror-related.

I know my mum has read horror related books as I always remember seeing the books on her bedside table when I was a kid and some of them you could tell were horror based on the front cover.

I have watched these ones too. Watching horror movies always keeps my eyes wide awake. There was a time I wanted to read one of the books I have stored for so time now, that I couldn't finish two pages and slept off.
