I don’t have much of a temper, but I think learning to walk away to gather yourself is better than releasing the anger. A change of room or even fresh air can help. Sometimes it isn’t worth getting angry and you should ask whether you would be angry about it in a week if it came up again? Most likely, no.

I love to go hiking and I do all kinds of arts and crafts. I went to art school so I have a flair for creative things. I own a crafting forum and a lot of my projects are presented there and it’s a way for me to keep track of future crafts I want to make.

I have an online friend who loves to do Geocaching! I tried once to find something that was in my local county park, but I couldn’t get a good cell phone signal to get the right coordinates. So I never found it and I heard later on that it got flooded out.

I think my daughter has seen all the Saw movies with her cousin. I tried watching a few, but they were way too gross for me. I don’t need to see the various ways of being killed to be entertained.

What has happened is that gore has taken the place of proper suspense. We have such great technology that allows us to make realistic killings without harming a soul. But sometimes we don’t need to see all that to feel the horror of it.

I have always loved the House on Haunted Hill…both the old version and remake, as well as the series.

There are a lot of others too. The Carnival of Souls I remember watching when I stayed home sick from school one day and it SCARED me senseless. Don’t stay home from school and watch scary movies.

I’ll add Demon Seed to the list.

It’s B horror and written by Dean Koontz who really knows how to give you the chills. The movie is about a super computer who wants to impregnate its creator’s wife.

I didn’t even see the first film!

I have to ask, does it hurt your ears to have people only whispering in a movie for an hour and a half? I think that part in itself would be “horror” to live through.

At least there are some strong actors in the film, so maybe it’s worth giving it a chance?

I don’t see the point of remakes because none have been any good. Carrie wasn’t any better than the first even though the special effects were more advanced. I saw that Firestarter was remade but haven’t heard anything about it, so it must have failed too.
